The life around the liturgy
Services
These are the ministries named by the church. Meeting times follow the calendar. To join one, call (905) 426-4500.
Sunday School, K–6
Children meet in class on Sundays after the Divine Liturgy. Servants will tell a family where to go on a first Sunday.
St. Anthony & St. Verena
Grades 7 and 8, under the names of the father of monks and of Saint Verena. Hymn class for boys and girls is also on the weekly calendar.
Youth, grade 9 and up
High school meets through the week, and university and graduate youth keep a TGIF gathering. Both appear on the church calendar.
The Holy Family
The Good Shepherd family meeting is the church’s gathering for families. It is listed on Friday evenings in the current calendar.
Newcomers
If Ajax is new, or the Coptic liturgy is new, come on a Sunday and introduce yourself, or telephone the office before you arrive. Someone will walk you through the service.
Memorials and the cemetery
The church arranges monument prayers and can speak with families about cemetery plots. Both begin with a call to the office, not a form on this page.
